NBA night

Not a big fan of the local NBA franchise but still enjoy a game or two during the season.  Had hopes for the team during most of the game as they led all the way--until the end of course.  Oh well, seems par for the course this season.  NBA puts on a good show and the arena big screen TV's are awesome!

Reading Glasses

The time comes for everyone sooner or later.  Luckily it only affects me in the mornings right now.  Once the eyes wake up the whole mono-vision contact thing works beautifully--one eye for close vision, one eye for far vision.

Toothbrush or Hairbrush? Maybe both...

I need to make an appointment with my eye doctor.  That's what today's image taught me.  I had the idea of taking some photos of a toothbrush, pulled one out of my drawer, put toothpaste on and took a few photos.  It wasn't until the I then looked at the images I had taken that I even noticed the hair wrapped around and through the bristles.  Yeck!  It was pretty gross!  But what great luck--having the unnoticed hair on the toothbrush made the image.  Toothbrush or hairbrush?  Maybe both in this case.  And I really did not see it until I looked at the photos I took--my eyes are showing signs of aging.... (but my teeth are clean!)

Men can lost only so long when shopping with their woman.  At some point the evolutionary traits take over, the woman hits her stride and the man fizzles out.  That is the story behind today's photo--an image that captures those feelings I often have while at the mall.... Shopping with my wife for clothes for my daughter.  Getting her ready to serve as a missionary for 18 months.  So what does a guy do while his honey shops and shops for girls clothes?  Yep, time to wander around and act bored.  Wait, I have my camera with me--since it is part of my mobile phone it is always with me.  So I wander around looking for images to capture.  This one is from one of those big, name brand stores that makes shopping for clothes an experience.  And yes, I am watching the clock wondering just how long I can endure this shopping trip....

Pacific Sunset - Laguna Beach, California

The last three days have been marvelous!  Great people, fantastic scenery, productive relationship building conference!  This good thing comes to an end and its back to the mountains later today.  The event ends but the relationships will continue.  Thank you Ken Gibson for the invitation and letting me be part of the group.
