Mystery

Today's mystery kaleidoscope image is just begging to be discovered.  Indeed, if I had not created this one I would have no idea whatsoever as to the original source from whence it came.  In fact, $10 says no one else can guess the original image used to create this mystery kaleidoscope either.  Stay tuned.....mystery to be revealed in tomorrow's post.

The evidence is clear

Grandkids rock!  It has been nice having several of them around for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Now that they are gone and they house is quiet, we don't even want to pick up the few things left from their visit.  Yes, the evidence is clear, grandkids have been here.  And we love every minute of their visits!

Again?

So nice to hop on a plane and travel the country, or the world for that matter.  Hmmmm, it seems like I have been here before.  Yep, I have been seeing a lot of this lately.  Again?  This time at sunset...

Again?

High above it all

Somewhere in mid-America at 32,000 feet, 530 mph on the busiest travel day of the year.  It's okay, my flights all ran on time although the airports were jam packed.  Home for the holiday.  Happy Thanksgiving all!

Home for the holiday

Okay, the work 2,000 miles away from my wife/best friend gives me new appreciation and empathy for the bachelor life.  So YES, I am excited to be headed home today for the holiday.  So what if it is the busiest travel day of the year and a storm is headed for the Northeast just in time to mess with air traffic all over the country.  As long as I make it back, all will be well.

Which room is mine?

Out of town again.  Hotel rooms galore!  I am sure one of them is mine.  Which one is mine?  No, really?  Yes, they do begin to all look the same.

Watched

Walk through this hotel lobby at the Hilton resort in Orlando and one cannot help but feel like someone is watching.  It feels like you are in a zoo and the monster fashion ladies all 'blinged" up are looking down at the little people walking through the lobby.  Now I know how those zoo animals must feel.

"The hardest thing to do is to be true to yourself, especially when everybody is watching."  Dave Chappelle

Train Tube

The train tube.  Have you ever seen it?  If you have you would remember that this is the view of the airport terminal shuttle train from outlying terminals back to the main terminal in Charlotte, North Carolina--the U.S. Air hub.  Looks very science fictiony....doesn't it?  I thought so too.

High Maintenance

So I walk into the Hilton Hotel in Orlando to register for my room (visiting for some business meetings) and find this "high maintenance" woman looking down on me--literally.  This, and many others very similar, are large (like 20 feet by 20 feet maybe) ceiling panels illuminated from behind.  Something about the Florida sun/water fun theme.  Although I have never seen anyone hit the pool with this kind of bling....
